  1. Choose New from the File menu or press Command-N to open a new, untitled Address Book Plus document.  The Data Entry dialog box appears.  The default data entry preference settings are in effect.

  3. You can override the default settings by creating your own data entry preference file.  Consult the “Creating new documents” section in Chapter 1 of the manual for instructions.
